Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions (CCFS) in Omaha, NE is hiring a Freight Handler for the 11pm–8am shift. You will load/unload trailers using forklifts and pallet jacks, scan freight, and stage inbound shipments. Minimum 6 months forklift experience and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 90 pounds.
• Minimum 6 months verifiable forklift experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or handcarts.
• Use handheld scanners to track and document freight.
• Identify, sticker, and stage inbound freight.
• Verify freight condition to meet quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
