Job summary

Sabert Corporation is seeking a Forming Operator to safely and efficiently operate forming machines that convert WIP into finished product. The role requires running machines to meet production requirements while performing setup, changeover, preventative maintenance and sanitation tasks.

The operator will follow the production schedule, monitor performance, document downtime drivers, complete make-readies, install components, and ensure quality through checks and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hand tools and the ability to use them safely.
• Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules and machine operating procedures.
• Basic mathematics and ability to document production data.

Responsibilities

• Run converting machines at established rates and follow the production schedule.
• Document variables that may cause machine downtime.
• Complete process and machine make-readies for setup and changeover.
• Perform process quality checks and adjust machines to resolve issues.
• Perform machine maintenance tasks and routine cleaning/sanitation.
