Job summary

Sabert is seeking a Forming Operator to safely operate packaging conversion machines. You will set up, run, and monitor machines to meet production goals, perform quality checks, and document output. The role includes basic maintenance, housekeeping, and assisting with training and shift coverage.

The position is a day shift in a 6AM-6PM schedule, with full-time, non-exempt hourly compensation and comprehensive benefits offered by Sabert.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hand tools and machine operation.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety rules and operating procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math and communicate production issues.

Responsibilities

• Run converting machines at set rates and follow production schedule.
• Complete make-readies and set up machine per product requirements.
• Perform quality checks and adjust machines to fix issues.
• Monitor indicators and troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
• Perform maintenance and cleaning of machines and glue systems.
• Maintain production supplies and materials.
• Assist in training and cover breaks as needed.
• Record data on forms and report issues to supervisor.
