Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to lower stock and move pallets between dock and storage areas during the night shift. You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts while keeping slots full to support efficient selectors.

This role requires attention to safety and basic math, reading and writing, and experience with warehouse terminals and scanning devices. The position offers starting pay of $20 per hour and benefits day one.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months prior Selector experience.
• Able to read and write legibly; basic mathematical skills; must be able to properly use SAE, onboard computer terminals and scanning devices.

Responsibilities

• Transport pallets to clear dock congestion.
• Move pallet loads from dock to storage aisles using powered equipment and ensure pallets are securely staged.
• Perform safety checks on battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher.
• Record product, equipment and warehouse damage.
• Maintain clean aisles by removing debris from floor and racks.
• Follow safety policies and practices at all times.
