Job summary

New Weds Foods is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support shipping, receiving and inventory control in the Chicago production area.

You will operate a stand-up forklift, pull orders, and help with stock placement and cycle counts. A high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of food-manufacturing warehousing experience are required. This on-site role offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision and 401K.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to operate standard warehouse equipment, including a stand-up forklift and load move system.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving functions to meet production goals.
• Operate forklift to load and unload vehicles and move stock.
• Pull orders and assist in warehouse placement of stock.
• Assist in inventory and cycle counts and maintain logs and paperwork.
• Complete monthly inventory with minimal supervision.
• Fill in for supervisor when needed and understand storage areas for finished goods and raw materials.
