Job summary

Mastronardi Produce USA, Inc. in Laredo is seeking a HILO Driver (Forklift) for Sunday to Wednesday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM at our refrigerated distribution center. You will move product, load and unload trucks and support receiving, shipping, and inventory control.

The role requires a forklift license, a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license or state ID, and a recent eye exam. This is an on-site position in a 24/7 facility with strict safety and food-safety responsibilities.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Forklift license required and related work experience.
Valid Driver’s License or state ID and a recent eye exam (within 1 year).

Responsibilities

Move product within warehouse and trailers using a forklift.
Handle and maintain the flow of inventory in the warehouse.
Operate bar-code scanner.
Perform basic tag and paperwork functions with high accuracy for pallet movement and trace-ability.
Keep equipment and work areas clean, safe and orderly.
Report any product quality issues to the supervisor.
Load, inspect, and sort product per supervisor guidance.
Assist in general warehouse cleanup throughout the day.
Report safety risks to the supervisor.
Ensure safe operation of equipment per company policy.
Complete equipment checklists to verify equipment condition.
