Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Forklift Operator II to move materials and assets using forklifts and pallet jacks, primarily during a 9:00pm–5:30am shift with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include pulling equipment, loading/unloading trailers, and ensuring accurate documentation with SAP/CONA handhelds. Qualified candidates will have forklift and switcher experience and CDL if required. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification and safe operation experience.
• Ability to follow SOPs and complete documentation accurately.
• Understanding of weight distribution and loading strategies.

Responsibilities

• Pull specific vending and cold drink equipment to fulfill sales requests.
• Ensure outbound loads are secured and properly wrapped with documentation (STO).
• Load and unload trailers as needed following SOPs and update SAP/CONA handhelds for accountability.
• Perform safety and housekeeping activities, daily documentation review and keep area clean.
• Assist with staging equipment and yard movements, including switcher use for trailers.
• Operate a switcher to maneuver 53’ and pup trailers to the dock.
