Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator II to move materials across our Roanoke facility. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, secure outbound loads, and manage documentation to ensure accurate inbound and outbound processes.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trailers, updating SAP/CONA handhelds, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace. Candidates with switcher experience and CDL where required are preferred.

Qualifications

• Switcher operation certification required.
• CDL Class A where required.
• Experience in logistics preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Pull specific vending and cold drink equipment to fulfill sales request needs.
• Ensure outbound loads are secured with proper documentation (STO).
• Load and unload trailers to support delivery activities and update SAP/CONA for accountability.
• Perform safety and housekeeping tasks, conduct pre/post-trip checks, maintain a clean work area.
• Assist staging equipment and yard movements, including equipment junking.
• Use a switcher to maneuver 53’ and pup trailers to the dock.
