Job summary

Pure's Food Specialties, LLC is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator in Northlake, IL to safely move, store, and track materials within our warehouse. You will operate forklifts, verify shipments, and prepare outbound loads using shrink-wrapping and weighing steps.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy, utilizing RF scanning, rotating stock per FIFO, and adhering to OSHA safety standards. High school diploma or GED required; forklift certification preferred and bilingual skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years forklift or material handling experience preferred.
• Valid forklift certification preferred, recertification required after employment.
• Ability to read labels and follow verbal/written instructions; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Pick orders using pick sheets and/or RF scanning equipment.
• Receive, check in, and verify incoming shipments.
• Prepare and stage outbound shipments, including shrink-wrapping and weighing loads.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation; organize materials safely.
• Rotate stock to FIFO; ensure safe work practices in shared zones.
• Report faulty equipment or safety hazards promptly; maintain a clean area.
• Participate in safety training and certifications as required.
