USG is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift (10:30 pm – 6:45 am) in the Washingtonville - Supply Chain department. The starting pay rate is $23.48 - $30.32 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and advancement.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, pulling and staging materials, recording shipping data, and performing basic forklift maintenance. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable attendance in a plant warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Safely operate a forklift in a plant warehouse.
• Inspect and troubleshoot forklift to maximize availability.
• Interpret verbal instructions and written customer orders.
• Accurately record shipping data.
• Maintain basic maintenance skills to service equipment.
• Demonstrate effective teamwork and communication.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load/unload materials to trucks/railcars and from the production line.
• Pull, stage, load, and check materials per customer orders for timely shipment.
• Record shipping data and required documentation.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
• Participate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adapt to scheduling requirements, including overtime and weekends as needed.
