Job summary

RRD is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 3rd Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM). The role involves operating equipment to move finished product for shipping or storage, supplying materials to the Manufacturing Department, and staging products for movement. A 3rd Shift premium applies; starting pay is $16.50–$18.00 per hour with a $3/hr premium.

The position requires safe operation and adherence to all safety policies. Rotating schedule includes weekends every other week and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of forklift dimensions and load limits.
• Ability to determine doorway/aisle clearance for fork lift trucks.
• Familiarity with storage layout to locate items efficiently.
• Skilled maneuvering of forklifts in tight spaces.
• Experience handling hoists and controls in forklift operations.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment to move finished product for shipping or storage.
• Supplies Manufacturing Department with materials as needed.
• Stages product to be moved or shipped.
• Racks unused supplies and maintains inventory location details.
• Transports and processes manufacturing by-products.
• Performs routine daily inspections on hoist and reports maintenance needs.
• May perform battery service duties and lubricate moving parts.
• Adheres to safety policies including hazardous waste handling and lockout-tagout.
