Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator in Omaha, NE. The role involves moving supplies, stacking and retrieving materials, and documenting inventory under supervision. Must meet safety requirements and be prepared for post-offer screening.

Responsibilities include operating extend boom forklifts, following hand signals, and maintaining a clean, organized production area. Valid license and NCCER/NCCCO certification or Turner qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Overtime may be required during busy seasons.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years experience in the specified skill preferred.
• Knowledge of load capacity on extend boom forklifts.
• Understanding 4-wheel drive systems on extend boom forklifts.
• NCCER/NCCCO certifications or Turner Industries qualifications required.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Safety rules: PPE and site requirements must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Move levers to control diesel, electric, or gasoline equipment.
• Interpret hand signals to place materials correctly.
• Read and interpret load charts.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and perform basic maintenance.
• Assist with other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Work on unleveled surfaces and follow safety procedures.
