Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in the specified skill.
• Must pass Turner Qualification written and practical exams.
• Able to strap load to forks via ratchet strap or similar device.
• Some job sites may require NCCER certification.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Job site safety requirements (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.).
• Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.).
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to health or safety.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Moves hand and foot levers to control diesel, electric, or gasoline operating equipment.
• Interprets hand signals to determine where materials are to be placed; reads load charts.
• May perform maintenance duties such as cleaning, greasing and oiling machines/equipment; maintain a clean and safe work area.
