Job summary

MEDLOG Cold Storage/C&K Holdings is seeking an Overnight Counterbalance Verifier for cold storage operations in Rincon, GA. The role involves forklift-based movement, loading/unloading, and verifying products with WMS and RF devices.

You will ensure safety and accuracy in receiving, storing, and shipping, while maintaining inventory integrity and adhering to HACCP guidelines in a refrigerated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred, but not required; equivalent education and experience accepted.
• Forklift certification is not required but is desired.
• Must work independently as well as in a team and maintain high level of detail and accuracy.
• Data entry and documentation are essential.
• Overtime and weekend availability may be required to meet customer expectations.
• Must work in refrigerated/freezer environments (+38°F to -27°F).
• Knowledge of HACCP guidelines and company procedures for safe handling of goods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and equipment for safe operation.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary work area.
• Operate under HACCP guidelines for handling of proteins.
• Perform pallet movement, loading/unloading, slip sheet operations, and layer picker activities.
• Use scanners and RF devices to process warehouse transactions and workload assignments.
• Verify inbound/outbound products against shipping/receiving docs.
• Conduct inventory verification and ensure correct warehouse locations.
• Complete system transactions to maintain inventory in WMS.
• Identify and report discrepancies, damages, and variances.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Meet customer-specific receiving, storage, verification, and shipping requirements.
