Job summary

Tandem Foods is seeking a Food Safety & QA Technician for the 3rd shift to support manufacturing. The role ensures product safety, quality, and aesthetic standards and enforces GMP, BRC, and QA procedures across the line.

Responsibilities include reviewing results, guiding operators on non-conformities, maintaining cleanliness, and reporting issues to managers. Strong attention to detail and adherence to SOPs are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of production team experience preferred.
• Must have a High School degree/GED or equivalent education.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Mathematical aptitude.
• Ability to regularly use ladders and stairs.

Responsibilities

• Review results to ensure specifications are met.
• Provide feedback to operators and managers on non-conforming products.
• Communicate results using established methods.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace in line with GMP and BRC standards.
• Inform Quality and Production Managers of any food safety problems.
• Follow SOPs and job instructions; take corrective actions as needed.
• Document required process and quality measures and meet targets.
• Verify product conformance to customer specifications.
