Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a Floor Technician in Joplin, MO, for a full-time, night shift (8:00 pm–4:30 am) with rotating weekends. Prior floor care experience and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required. Location: Freeman Health Systems, 1102 West 32nd Street, Joplin.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard-surface floor maintenance and refinishing procedures such as stripping, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surfaces, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Carry out maintenance and restorative processes for all floor types.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
