Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring immediately for a full-time Floor Technician at Long Beach Medical Center, Long Beach, CA. The role covers floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment, with night shift Sunday through Thursday.

Qualifications include prior floor care experience, knowledge of floor care equipment and safety procedures, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and proper procedures for stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Uses proper carpet and upholstery procedures including shampooing, damp cleaning, extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
