Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care across the continuum. You will perform the nursing process with assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, handling complex situations with guidance as needed.

You will coordinate care with the health care team, delegate when appropriate, and support the ongoing education of staff and students in a dynamic clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school
• 3 Years Clinical experience
• California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing -REQUIRED
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families.
• Performs nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinates patient care with the care team and may supervise relief charge nurse.
• Teaches skills and supports preceptorship/professional development of new nurses and students.
