Job summary

Conway Regional Health System is seeking a Float Registered Nurse to provide care for adolescent, adult and geriatric med-surg and cardiac patients. The Float RN will coordinate nursing care and participate in patient and family teaching, while delivering leadership by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

Assignments are determined by census, acuity and staffing needs as managed by the House Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current, active license to practice in Arkansas, required.
• Minimum two years’ experience in an acute care hospital setting as a registered nurse.
• CRITICAL CARE background preferred.
• Certification preferred.
• Proof of high school or equivalent or higher education.
• Successful completion of Medication Administration Exam.
• Basic keyboarding skills, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float RN to care for adolescent, adult and geriatric med-surg and cardiac patients.
• Coordinate nursing care and participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary staff and interdisciplinary team.
