Job summary

Virtua Anesthesia – West in Camden, NJ seeks an experienced Night Float Anesthesiologist to provide independent overnight coverage for Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. The role focuses on airway management, OB anesthesia call, and emergent cases, with collaboration across surgical, ED, ICU and obstetric teams in a high-acuity hospital.

The position offers a predictable 7p–7a night schedule (7 shifts per pay period) with competitive compensation and full benefits; starting salary is $600,000.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist.
• Minimum 2–3 years post-training experience preferred or equivalent high-volume autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight in-house coverage.
• Manage airways and airway rescue throughout the hospital.
• Support OB anesthesia call and emergencies overnight.
• Collaborate with surgical, ED, ICU, and OB teams to ensure safe, timely care.
