Job summary

PepsiCo in Beloit, WI is hiring for a Distribution & Delivery fleet technician. The shift runs 10pm–6:30am, five days a week, with pay of $35.35 per hour.

You will maintain and repair fleet vehicles and assist with parts and labor charges on work orders, while building relationships with vendors. Candidates must be 21+, hold a valid non-DOT driver’s license, be able to lift 50+ pounds and work in tight spaces, and be willing to weekends/holidays and extended shifts.

Qualifications

• You are at least 21 years of age or older.
• You may be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift.
• You have a valid Non-DOT Driver's License.
• Your driver's license has not been suspended or revoked in connection with a moving violation within the past three (3) years.
• You can lift 50 pounds or more with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You are able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You have the ability to work in tight spaces for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You will be required to work on/under trucks for an entire shift (8 to 12 hours) with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, including diagnosing mechanical issues and completing preventative maintenance.
• Work alongside experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Manage parts inventory and accurately charge parts and labor to work orders using provided systems.
• Build relationships with vendors when obtaining estimates for parts or outside labor.
