Novolex is seeking an Extrusion Process Technician for a 7:00 PM–7:00 AM 2-2-3 schedule. The role focuses on guiding productivity, safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the extrusion process.

You will support changeovers, maintain standard production rates, and work with the Process Engineer to optimize process sheets and line efficiencies. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in plastics processing/extrusion, strong machinery experience, and the ability to train and lead teams.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in plastics processing or extrusion.
• Experience operating plastics extrusion machinery.
• Strong ability to operate and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Understanding tooling, machining, and material flow for extrusion/thermoforming.
• Excellent communication and leadership to train and guide others.
• Able to work a 12-hour COP shift.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with changeovers with minimal downtime.
• Ensure production runs at standard rate for shift.
• Update plant process sheets with recommendations.
• Develop and implement programs to improve product quality and line efficiency.
• Collaborate with maintenance, automation, and tooling teams to resolve issues.
