Sealed Air Corporation in Louisville, KY is seeking an Extrusion Operator for a night shift on a 2/2/3 rotating schedule, 7 PM–7 AM, with a base pay of $23.00 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential. Training on a 3rd shift (11 PM–7 AM) will occur after hire.

The role involves maintaining quality by adjusting gauges for extruder speed, temperature, pressure, and winder speed, and performing setup and material checks. You will use SAP and Excel to monitor production metrics and safety data.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Forklift experience.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture sufficient quantities of quality products at or below budgeted production costs in order to meet marketplace demand.
• Sets up equipment operation feed, speed, and temperature.
• Follows established procedures for operating various conventional and/or CNC manufacturing equipment to fabricate, form, or shape manufactured parts, tools, or parts assemblies from raw materials.
• Selects and measures raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing.
• Resolves issues related to the organization's production, machinery, processing and/or packaging operations.
• Create and distribute all production job packets for all presses.
• Review all production orders for completion and accuracy, and ensure all orders are balanced with respect to production hours.
• Proficient in SAP using several functions to track performance rates and yields.
• Proficient in Excel to create trend charts for Production metrics.
• Track Safety engagements and update Safety charts monthly.
