Job summary
Abacus Corporation, a family-owned staffing leader with 80+ years of experience, is seeking a Machine Operator with experience in CNC/Extrusion to join our team. The role offers 1st and 2nd shifts, with overtime and competitive pay.
You will observe production equipment, mix and blend materials, monitor quality, record data, and ensure safety and compliance. Strong attention to detail, English communication, and 2–3 years of machinery experience are required.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience operating machinery related to raw material mixing and blending.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Must follow health and safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain accurate production records and report production numbers.
Responsibilities
- Observe & Monitor production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Mix or Blend ingredients by starting machines and mixing for specified times.
- Start, Stop mixing or blending machines when specified.
- Record operational and/or production data on specified company forms.
- Collect samples of materials or products for laboratory testing.
- Control operations of conveyor systems for processing defective products.
- Adjust machines and troubleshoot to regulate production flow.
