Job summary

Samtec, Inc. is seeking a night shift Machine Operator in Wilsonville, OR. The role requires careful electronics/mfg experience and offers training. Starts at $22.00 per hour with a $0.75 night differential. 12-hour shifts, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM, three days per week, with full benefits.

Full training provided, plus a strong benefits package including holidays, vacation, healthcare, and 401(k) plans. Prior cable manufacturing exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Good computer entry skills with attention to detail.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Ability to read and understand job specifications, schematics, shop orders, read prints, operating instructions.
• Perform basic math calculations and basic statistics interpretation.
• Identify basic functional problems and take corrective action.
• Interface with supervisors and engineers to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run jobs for customer orders.
• Maintain a high level of quality and on-time delivery standards.
• Manage job inventory per established methods and procedures.
• Complete and maintain the required paperwork.
• Enter Maintenance Requests on a computer when machine issues are identified.
• Follow extrusion process guidelines and operate high-temperature equipment up to 1000°F.
