Qualifications

• Requires three or more years of diversified healthcare or similar institutional Environmental Services experience, including leadership and staff training.
• Experience in infection control and safety practices is essential.
• Ability to analyze and improve environmental services operations and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Environmental Services personnel across hospital campuses to ensure clean, safe environments.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, training, and performance within budget guidelines.
• Performs patient area inspections and collaborates with infection control to meet standards.
• Schedules projects, tracks inventory, and coordinates services for major housekeeping needs.
• Communicates with nurses, physicians, and departments to resolve service requests and ensure follow-up.
• Develops and enforces department policies in partnership with leadership.
• Supports interdepartmental taskforces and represents the department in hospital operations.
