Job summary

Rosie’s Gaming Emporium – Emporia is seeking a Lead Housekeeper to supervise the EVS department and support the facilities leadership team in daily operations.

Shift is 10PM-6AM Wednesday through Sunday. The role requires excellent communication, ability to multitask in a hospitality setting, and willingness to train staff.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 6 months to 1 year of related experience, and must obtain a valid racing license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license.

Responsibilities

• Supervisory support to facilities leadership for the EVS department day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate tasks and checklists with the Facilities Supervisor.
• Lead pre-shift briefings and assign duties per Facilities Manager guidance.
• Ensure OSHA and HazCom compliance, including MSD Sheets maintenance.
• Label, store, and educate team on use/hazards of equipment and chemicals.
• Receive equipment and supplies and coordinate storage and distribution.
• Maintain labeled and orderly storage areas.
• Monitor equipment condition and maintenance.
• Resolve problems within scope and report others to supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
