Job summary

The Riverside Premier Rehabilitation & Healing Center is seeking a vigilant security professional to protect residents, staff and visitors during overnight and daytime shifts. You will monitor access, enforce policies and promptly report unsafe conditions to supervising staff.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 6 months of experience, a valid security guard license, and strong English communication skills. Salary is $18 per hour, with daily pay available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• at least 6 months experience.
• Must be a licensed security guard.
• Must be able to speak, read and write proficiently in English.

Responsibilities

• Prevents entrance of unauthorized individuals.
• Performs rounds of the facility and reports unsafe conditions and fire hazards.
• Monitors security signal systems and responds to alerts.
• Enforces the fire safety program and participates in investigations.
• Responds to requests to restore order or maintain peace.
• Prevents egress of residents who should not leave the Riverside.
• Reports notable changes in resident behavior to supervising nurse.
• Enforces visiting policy when issues arise.
• Receives and records articles turned in or claimed.
• Prevents pilferage, arson, assault and sabotage.
