Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Emergency Room Veterinarian to join our growing network of veterinary hospitals in Texas. This permanent night-shift role offers the chance to practice high-quality emergency medicine across a variety of patients while joining a supportive team.

The ideal candidate has a DVM, at least five years of experience in emergency settings, and current veterinary licensure. Board certification in ECC or ECC residency is highly desirable, with a commitment to compassionate care.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years practicing vet with emergency medicine experience.
• Board certification in ECC or ECC residency highly desirable.
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine.
• Excellent surgical skills in emergency settings.
• Strong communication and ability to explain medical conditions to pet owners.
• Proactive, team-oriented, able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Providing immediate care to emergency patients, including initial examination, diagnostic testing, and treatment.
• Performing emergency surgeries as necessary.
• Collaborating with other veterinary professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Communicating effectively with pet owners about the condition, treatment options, and potential outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in veterinary medicine and emergency care.
• Providing compassionate care to all patients and their owners.
• Participating in continuing education programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
