Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality care during night shifts at Mt. Orab Medical Center. The role emphasizes patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree (associates or bachelor’s), current RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications; ED or critical care experience is preferred. EPIC EHR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an RN.
• BLS and/or ACLS and PALS certifications (ACLS/PALS required within 6 months of hire).
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; ED/critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced, high-intensity setting.
• Evaluates, updates and revises the plan of care to meet outcomes.
• Serves as point of contact for care coordination across hospital departments.
• Administer medications safely and in accordance with policies.
