Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a night shift, full-time Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Albuquerque, NM to join Lovelace Women’s Hospital. The RN will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ER and may supervise staff in charge.

Requirements include NM nursing license, BLS within 14 days, and ACLS/PALS per department needs; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and 2 years of nursing experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing is required.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• DEPARTMENT MAY ALSO REQUIRE ACLS and or PALS.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, to include patient care and staff management assigned to the RN in his/her charge.
• May serve in the role of Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
