The hospital is a Primary Stroke Center and ACC Chest Pain Center, emphasizing rapid intervention, safety, and teamwork in a recently expanded ED. Virginia RN licensure, CPR, ACLS, and PALS within orientation are required.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma and/or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Virginia RN license (or compact state).
• CPR certification required.
• ACLS prior to orientation.
• PALS within 3 months of orientation end.
• Stroke/Orthopedic/Spine certifications preferred.
