Shifts include 6p–6a with weekend rotation, and on-call duties may apply. The incumbent must remain calm in emergencies, work rotating shifts, and interact professionally with the public.

Qualifications

• EMT-Basic licensure required.
• EVOC required.
• AHA BLS required.
• Must have valid driver’s license and DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients between UVA Health facilities as required.
• Assist in moving patients with qualified personnel.
• Maintain calm and organized response in emergencies.
• Communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
