Job summary

Core Group Resources seeks an Electromechanical Technician to install and maintain electrical, mechanical, and fluid systems at a launch site, supporting ground and test operations. The role requires initiative, composure under pressure, and teamwork while owning quality and suggesting improvements.

The position involves night shifts (Mon–Fri, roughly 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM) with shift rotations, overtime, and weekends as site needs change.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience maintaining or installing mechanical and low‑voltage control systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to work in tight quarters with good physical dexterity and in extreme outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain) with exposure to fumes, odors, and noise.
• Willing to travel to other company facilities as needed (up to 25%).

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install fluid system hardware from schematics or engineering drawings.
• Troubleshoot operational issues identified during activation of controls, fluid, and mechanical systems.
• Partner with technicians and engineers to ensure systems perform at high quality for mission‑critical launch operations.
• Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and aerial platforms.
• Handle large and small assemblies with care.
• Perform maintenance work including vehicle integration support, pad/site preventive maintenance, and corrosion control.
