Job summary

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, a Journeyman or NCCER license, and excels at reading drawings and schematics while upholding electrical codes. Overtime and weekend support may be required to support operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience with electrical systems.
• Journeyman or NCCER industrial license.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace defective parts in electrical fixtures.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic components on machinery and equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on field, plant, and shop electrical and electronic systems, devices, and components.
• Install enhancements and major upgrades to plant electrical subsystems.
• Work from instructions using blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Test electrical circuits to verify proper operation.
• Install electrical components to architectural and code specifications.
• Check wiring connections using test equipment such as volt/ohmmeters and oscilloscopes.
• Take on other related duties as assigned to support an efficient, effective work environment.

Requirements

• Physically able to stand, kneel, crouch, twist, work in cramped positions and small openings, climb hand over hand, lift up to 25 lbs, and work on ladders and lifts at elevated heights.
• Comfortable working in an environment with exposure to fumes, odors, and noise.
• Able to shift roles and responsibilities quickly in a high-paced, challenging setting.
