Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a full-time EEG Technician for the Neurology department on the night shift (7:30pm–8:00am). Responsibilities include performing adult and neonatal EEGs under physician direction, applying electrodes, calibrating equipment, and ensuring high-quality data.

The role requires an accredited EEG program or 3+ years’ EEG experience, with a sign-on bonus of $5,000. Typical duties also involve verifying patient information, obtaining history, scheduling tests, and collaborating

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited EEG school program OR 3+ years of EEG work experience required.
• Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Explain test procedure to patient and apply recording electrodes.
• Calibrate equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions; ensure data quality.
• Schedule patient testing and maintain communication across inpatient units.
