Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an EEG Technician for full-time night shifts in the Network EEG Float Pool across Phoenix locations. The role performs standard and complex EEGs, ECS recordings for brain death, evoked potentials, and CSA analysis while ensuring patient safety and age-appropriate care.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, EEG training or equivalent on-the-job experience, and BLS certification. Sign-on bonus is available and the team values compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of 11-month EEG training program or 6 months on-the-job training is required.
• Graduate of an EEG program or 12 months on-the-job training is preferred.
• Technical training diploma/degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs standard and complex EEG procedures using the 10-20 system and applies electrodes.
• Maintains equipment and inventory; reports major repairs to Clinical Engineering.
• Records evoked responses and interprets signals with awareness of artifacts and surgical events.
• Provides patient care and observes clinical manifestations during seizures or emergencies.
• Summarizes neurologic status and explains procedures to patients and families.
• Performs comprehensive EEG analysis using CSA and related techniques.
