Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an EEG Technician for a full-time float pool across various Phoenix locations. You will perform standard and complex EEGs, use the 10-20 placement system, and handle ECS/evoked potential procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The role requires completion of an EEG training program or on-the-job training, with BLS certification. The position offers a sign-on bonus and operates on day shift with 4x10-hour shifts across multiple sites in the Phoenix area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 11-month EEG training program or 6 months on-the-job training required.
• EEG program graduate or 12 months on-the-job training preferred.
• Technical training diploma/degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs standard and complex EEGs using the 10-20 system and applies electrodes.
• Maintains equipment and inventories; reports major repairs as needed.
• Records evoked responses and identifies artifacts or influences on signals.
• Provides patient care and observes during seizures and emergencies.
• Summarizes neurologic status and explains procedures to patient/family.
• Performs comprehensive analysis of EEG data including CSA.
