Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Assistant to perform EEG studies, operate equipment, and assist in data management on a night shift at the Burnet Campus. The role requires completion of ASET Core Curriculum, a high school diploma, and BLS certification within one month of hire.

Preferred ABRET credentialing within two years of hire; training and ongoing education are provided.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of departmental training program and Core Curriculum established by ASET within 18 months of hire.
• No directly related experience
• Must obtain BLS Certification within 1 month of hire and maintain BLS Certification
• Neurodiagnostic Assistants must obtain ABRET credentialing for Registered EEG Technologist within two years of hire

Responsabilidades

• Diagnostic Evaluations - hook patient up to EEG equipment and start the study.
• Neurodiagnostic testing procedures and ongoing education; ensure patient safety and proper infection control.
• Lab and Equipment Maintenance; troubleshoot equipment and maintain supplies.
• EEG Acquisition - apply/remove electrodes, ensure impedances meet standards, document patient history.
• Documentation and Data Management - enter patient information into Epic and Natus; assist EEG Technologists.
