ZipStaff Inc. seeks an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a local contract at the Atlanta VA Medical Center in Decatur, GA.

The role focuses on rapid-response care for Veterans with acute medical and psychological conditions, including triage, stabilization, and comprehensive patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED. Requirements include an RN license (US), BLS and ACLS, and ACEN/CCNE accredited education with at least 3 years of ED/trauma ER experience.

Qualificações

• Current, full, and unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• Graduate of a nursing program ACEN or CCNE accredited at graduation time.
• Minimum 3 years of ED or major trauma center ER experience.
• No more than 6 months gap in ED/ER practice.
• Strong emergency assessment, triage, IV therapy, medication administration, and clinical documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency-care environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and manage patients with acute physical or psychological conditions.
• Perform emergency assessments, triage, stabilization, and monitoring.
• Administer medications including IV therapies.
• Manage blood products as ordered and maintain IV lines.
• Provide wound care, catheter care, and invasive procedure support.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, and nurses to implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families and provide discharge instructions.
