Job summary

Vanderbilt Health's VCH Emergency Room - Main in Clarksville, TN, seeks a full-time night shift Medical Receptionist to support patient care by handling clerical and receptionist duties for patients, families, visitors and staff. The role requires assisting with day-to-day patient care under licensed nurse supervision and ensuring smooth patient flow.

Shift runs 6:45PM–7:15AM on a rotating schedule, Monday through Sunday, with weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of patient care and maintenance of unit environmental standards under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assists with day‑to‑day delivery of patient care.
• Facilitates efficient and safe patient care and flow by following work area standards.
• Serves as a liaison for communication and education of patient and family needs.
• Supports unit operations and patient flow by maintaining supplies, equipment, and unit environmental standards.
