Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center's Vanderbilt Health Nursing division is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the VCH Emergency Room - Main team. The role involves planning, organizing, and delivering patient care within the scope of the RN's training, collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

This full-time night position (36 hours per week, 6:45 p.m.

Qualifications

• LIC-Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Less than 1 year of experience noted.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
• Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
• Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
