Job summary

Holy Cross Health Florida in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a full-time EKG Technician for a night shift (11pm–5:30am or 11pm–6:30am, five nights/week). You will perform cardiology procedures with precision, including ECGs, Holter monitoring, and event recorder applications to ensure accurate data collection.

A High School diploma is required, CPR certification is mandatory, and at least one year of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience of at least one year preferred.
• Requires ability to perform all basic electrocardiographic procedures in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Completes cardiology procedures paying particular attention to all details insuring a quality study.
• Demonstrates proper technique for performing routine ECGs.
• Acquires Signal Average ECGs according to physician specifications.
• Applies 24 hour holter monitor utilizing test strip to insure proper recording.
• Operates holter scanning equipment, scans are thoroughly analyzed, significant data recognized and representative strips documented.
• Demonstrates ability to apply event recorders.
