Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an ER Technician for the night shift (7pm–7:30am). This full-time position delivers patient care in the Emergency Center under RN or physician supervision and helps maintain a clean, organized ER.

Ideal candidates hold EMT-B or CNA certification, HS diploma or GED, and are able to cross-train as a Unit Secretary; prior EMT-B/CNA experience and IV start skills are preferred. BLS is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED from accredited school is required
• Certification from Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMT-B) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program required
• Willingness to cross train as Unit Secretary
• Previous EMT-B or CNA experience required. Experience with starting IVs is necessary
• Computer experience

Responsabilités

• The ER Technician is responsible for delivery of patient care. The ER Tech provides patient care in the Emergency Center under the supervision of the RN or physician.
• An ED tech is a healthcare professional who assists emergency room doctors and nurses with delivering medical care. ED techs keep the ER clean and organized and assist with basic patient care.
