Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Dryer Team Lead to guide operations on the floor, improve throughput, and reduce CIP times while upholding GMP, safety and sanitary standards.

You will supervise drying-line tasks, monitor sanitation schedules, perform basic quality testing, manage SAP/data entry, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. This is a full-time on-site role with 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Supervisory experience in food manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP and SQF practices.

Responsibilities

• Learns, understands, and performs each job within the dryer department.
• Ensures sanitation schedules and QA programs are fulfilled on time.
• Understands the dehydrated process and shift performance, including rate and clean-in-place times.
• Understands basic maintenance on pumps, valves and sanitation stations.
• Performs process adjustments for first-time-right quality.
• Prints product labels and handles SAP/data entry.
• Maintains safe working conditions and regulatory compliance.
• Adheres to DFA GMP policies and participates in required training.
