Job summary

Saltbox in Chamblee, Georgia is seeking an Operations Lead to own the dock sortation, coaching a small team and ensuring on-time delivery goals are met. The role runs overnight, with shifts starting around 1:00am, and requires hands-on floor leadership and daily reporting.

You will manage 2–7 dock sortation specialists, drive throughput, and ensure all handoffs to drivers are clean. This is a full-time, hourly position offering growth in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years leading a team in warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment.
• Experience with scanning, sortation, or distribution workflows.
• Familiar with SLA-driven operations where accuracy and speed both matter.
• Available for early-morning shifts, 7-day rotation.

Responsibilities

• Own shift and end-to-end sortation operations: pallets in, packages scanned and sorted, batches staged, drivers dispatched.
• Coach throughput and ensure Sort App usage in real time; train and certify team members before handling packages.
• Own site performance against SLAs: delivery, loss rate, sort completion, and dispatch targets; flag risks early.
