Job summary

Heaven Hill Bardstown is seeking a Distillery Technician - Nights to operate and maintain our distillery processes in a 3+3+1 schedule. This role requires logging, monitoring, and coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.

You will work on yeast propagation, by-product handling, wastewater pretreatment, and cross-train across distillery operations. Qualified applicants have at least two years in the spirits industry, a technical degree, and strong

Qualifications

Two-year technical degree required.
2+ years in distilled spirits with automation experience.
Distilled Spirits Certificate or Lean/CI preferred.
Ability to work in cross-functional self-directed teams.
Strong logical, analytical thinking.
Willingness to learn new technologies.
Ability to apply new operational techniques.
Analytical data skills to present solutions.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain distillery processes from grain receipt to distillate production.
Cross-train to perform all distillery technician tasks.
Work in a self-directed team focusing on safety, quality, productivity.
Operate wastewater pretreatment plant.
Coordinate planning with cistern room and truck traffic.
Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
