Stream Logistics is seeking a reliable Night Dispatcher to join our dynamic logistics team in a remote capacity. The role involves coordinating drivers and loads overnight, ensuring on-time departures, and confirming load readiness with customers.

You will monitor trips for compliance with Hours of Service regulations and communicate proactively with drivers and facilities. The ideal candidate has trucking or dispatch experience, strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills,

Qualifications

• Previous trucking, dispatch or logistics experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS requirements.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple drivers and loads simultaneously.
• Reliable, detail-oriented and able to work independently during overnight hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate drivers and loads to ensure timely departures and load readiness.
• Contact customers and facilities to confirm trailers and loads are ready for pickup.
• Notify drivers promptly when loads are ready and monitor trips.
• Track driver hours and ensure compliance with DOT and HOS regulations.
• Identify delays and scheduling issues and address operational problems.
• Maintain clear communication with drivers, customers, and management.
• Provide a proper handover to the daytime team and keep accurate records.

NIGHT DISPATCHER – LOGISTICS

We are looking for a reliable, organized, and experienced Night Dispatcher to join our logistics team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating drivers and loads throughout the night, ensuring timely departures, confirming load readiness with customers, monitoring drivers during their trips, and ensuring compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure drivers depart on time with their assigned loads.
• Contact customers and facilities to confirm trailers and loads are ready for pickup.
• Notify drivers promptly when loads are ready.
• Monitor drivers and loads throughout their trips.
• Track driver hours and ensure compliance with applicable DOT and HOS regulations.
• Identify and address delays, scheduling issues, and other operational problems.
• Maintain clear communication with drivers, customers, and management.
• Keep accurate records and provide a proper handover to the daytime team.

Requirements

Work Schedule

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the dispatch operation and understands the importance of keeping drivers, customers and loads moving on schedule.
