Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a dispatcher to coordinate delivery operations for its network in Vernon, CA. You will assign drivers to trucks, monitor routes, and ensure on-time departures and arrivals while communicating with drivers, customers, and vendors.

The role supports essential food distribution operations across North America. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with 2–4 years of dispatch experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispatchers keep track of the progress drivers make along their route using available technology.
• Check drivers in and out of terminals and transfer trip records into company files.
• Communicate with drivers daily, handle requests and complaints from customers.
• Calculate miles for all trucks.
• Determine travel and route times to accurately determine delivery costs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
