00 RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a Thursday night shift (10p–8a). The DSP will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health challenges, promoting independence and community participation.

The role emphasizes person-centered planning, advocacy, and coordination of daily activities, transportation, and personal care, under supervision and policies designed to ensure quality care.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Advocate for individuals' rights and promote civil liberties.
• Support wellness initiatives and safety for participants.
• Encourage self-advocacy and personal decision making.
• Accompany individuals to work, activities, and social events.
• Teach independent living skills and daily living tasks.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Foster social connections within the community.
• Assist with living arrangements and employment decisions.
• Assist with personal care tasks and household chores as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided.
• Address challenges with advocacy and resources.
